Public Admin Surface by Convenience

Do not expose n8n/admin dashboards publicly merely because the webhook endpoints must be public.

Evidence tier describes my hands-on relationship with the content. Official sources describe platform contracts/documentation. Production observations should not automatically be treated as official limits.

Problem

Administrative interfaces have a much larger attack surface and stronger privileges than narrow ingress endpoints.

Approach

Separate public webhook ingress from administrative access, restrict the editor/admin surface and use strong authentication/network controls.

Tradeoffs

More routing/access configuration

Reduces avoidable internet-facing privilege
