Do Not Mint an OAuth Token for Every API Call
Authentication calls spike, integrations slow down, or token creation starts being rate-limited.

Evidence tier describes my hands-on relationship with the content. Official sources describe platform contracts/documentation. Production observations should not automatically be treated as official limits.
Salesforce recommends not requesting more than one access token every 20 minutes and reusing tokens instead of creating one for each request.
What to check
- Does the client cache token + expiry?
- Does each worker/process independently mint tokens?
Make it cheaper next time
- Centralize token reuse where practical.
- Refresh intentionally near expiry/failure instead of per request.
